John Nostrant is the Athletic Director and Head Coach at The Haverford School. As a player, Coach Nostrant was a 3-time All-American midfielder at Washington College and a 2-time All-Pro player for the Philadelphia Wings and the Baltimore Thunder. Coach Nostrant has served as the head coach of The Haverford School since 1991, winning more than 300 games. Coach Nostrant has coached 35 high school All-Americans, 13 Inter-Ac title teams, 3 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 2 state championship teams (2000 and 2005), and a national championship team in 2011. He also served as an assistant coach for the USA U-19 world team which won the gold medal in 2008. Travis Loving enters his 13th season as the defensive coach at The Haverford School. Coach Loving played goalie collegiately at Army for legendary coach Jack Emmer where he served as the team's captain in 1996 and was a 3-time All-Patriot league selection. Coach Loving has coached 31 high school All-Americans, 8 Division I goalies, 10 Inter-Ac title teams, 3 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 1 national championship team in 2011. Mark Petrone enters his 12th season as the offensive coach at The Haverford School. Coach Petrone played collegiately at Gettysburg College and coached at Franklin & Marshall and Lynchburg Colleges. He has coached 31 high school All-Americans, 9 Division I face-off men, 9 Inter-Ac title teams, 3 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 1 national championship team in 2011.  Coach Petrone recently spoke on 141 Offense at the 2013 US Lacrosse National Convention.

Roddy Marino was a star attackman for the University of Virginia and went on to achieve great success with the U.S. Men's team. Coach Marino received the Turnbull Award as the nation's top attackman in 1986 when he earned 1st team All-America honors. He also earned second-team honors in 1985 and honorable mention honors in 1984. Marino was named the top attackman at the 1986 International Lacrosse Federation World Championship and earned All-World honors after helping the U.S. to the championship in both 1986 and 1990. Marino was inducted to the New England Chapter Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1996, the Long Island Chapter Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2002, and the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2009. Paul O'Grady currently coaches defense at The Haverford School. He also served as the defensive coordinator at Malvern and head coach at Episcopal Academy. Will Garrity graduated from The Haverford School in 2006 and was a member of the 2005 state championship team. He continued his career at Muhlenberg College where he played longstick midfield.

Erik Blindenbacher holds the Pennsylvania high school career goals record with 245. Erik was a two-time All-America attackmen at Lower Merion where he graduated in 2001. He currently coaches The Haverford School's Varsity team. Bill Annesley graduated from The Haverford School in 2010 where he played both midfield and defense. Coach Annesley currently plays for St. Joseph's University.

Mark Duncan currently serves as the Athletic Director and Head Lacrosse Coach at The Shipley School. Coach Duncan played his high school ball at Ward Melville HS on the 1992 undefeated NY state champs squad that was also the top ranked team in the nation. Coach Duncan played college ball at Lehigh University where he was the Patriot League Player of the Year in 1998 and a D I NCAA pre-season All-American, NCAA Leading goal scorer in 1997, and 1st team All Patriot League in '98 and '97 at attack. He still remains Lehigh's all-time leading scorer. After coaching Whittier College to a top 20 NCAA D III ranking in 1999 as the offensive coordinator, he moved on to The Shipley School and for the past 11 years has been the head coach amassing over 115 wins in his first 10 seasons as well as leading the Gators to their only 5 league championships in school history. Travis McDonnell is in his 7th year as an assistant coach under Mark Duncan at The Shipley School. Coaching the goalies for all 7 years and taking over as the defensive coordinator for 2013 season, he has spent the past 4 seasons as the offensive coordinator, in which the Gators won 4 consecutive league titles and currently have a 28 game league winning streak. A 2002 graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School, Coach McDonnell was a first team all state
goalie, the Maryland high school goalie of the year and a USA U19 team finalist. He continued his career at St. Joseph's University where he led Division 1 in saves his sophomore year and set the MAAC record for saves in a play off game during his freshman year.
Bradley Garcia played defense for Germantown Academy and graduated in 2013. Bradley was Captain for his senior year. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 lacrosse at Stony Brook University where he will play defense.

Mark Petrone enters his 12th season as the offensive coach at The Haverford School. Coach Petrone played collegiately at Gettysburg College and coached at Franklin & Marshall and Lynchburg Colleges. Travis Loving enters his 13th season as the defensive coach at The Haverford School. Coach Loving played goalie collegiately at Army for legendary coach Jack Emmer where he served as the team's captain in 1996 and was a 3-time All-Patriot league selection. Coach Loving has coached 27 high school All-Americans, 7 division 1 goalies, 9 Inter-Ac title teams, 3 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 1 national championship team in 2011. Pete Borror graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he was a 2-time All-American defensemen, a member of the Under Armour All-American Team, and the Delco player of the year in 2008. He currently plays collegiate lacrosse at Stevenson University. Henry Blynn graduated from The Haverford School in 2012 where he earned 1st team All-Inter-Ac, Inter-Ac League MVP, 1st team All-EPSLA, Philadephia Inquirer Player of the Year, and USILA All-American. He scored 92 points in his senior year. Coach Blynn is currently a starting attackman at Brown University.

Scott Berkheimer enters his first season as defensive coordinator at Strath Haven High School after holding the same position at Ridley High School the previous three. Coach Berkheimer played collegiately at PSU and Stockton College where he was a 3-time Knickerbocker Conference 1st Team selection as well as 3-time ECAC-Metro 1st Team All Star. He was also a USILA D3 All-American selection in 2005 and a member of Ridley's '97 and '98 PSLA state championship teams and captained their '99 PSLA state title runner-up team. Morgan Young played two years at attack for The Haverford School. Coach Morgan earned honorable mention All Inter-AC during his senior year. Coach Morgan played at Franklin & Marshall College. Ted Bergman played goalie for Strath Haven High School and graduated in 2013. Coach Bergman was the team's captain during his junior and senior year. During his junior year, he was selected as Honorable Mention for the Central League. He will be continuing his lacrosse career at Wesleyan University.

Will Scudder graduated from The Haverford School in 2007 where he was 1st team All Inter-Ac and 2nd team All-State in his senior year as a midfielder and face-off specialist. Coach Scudder continued his career at Lehigh University where he served as the team's co-captain in 2011. Mike Rufo graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he played midfield and won two Inter-Ac titles. Coach Rufo continued his career at the University of Scranton and served as co-captain in 2012. He finished his college career with 100 points.

From 2004-2005 Todd MacFarlane coached the University of San Diego where the team won back to back Western Collegiate Lacrosse League, Division B Conference Championships and in 2005 won the Men’s Division Intercollegiate Associates, National Championship. In addition to team awards Coach Mac was named 2005 Men’s Division Intercollegiate Associates and Western Collegiate Lacrosse League, Division B “Coach of the year”.

From 2007-2009 Coach MacFarlane was the Director of Lacrosse for the City of La Jolla and oversaw all Middle and High School Boy’s programs/events. Coach MacFarlane currently coaches at Malvern.

Stowe Milhous graduated from Lower Merion High School where he was an All-American. He continued his career at the University of New Hampshire where he was a member of the 1991 North South Senior Game. He currently coaches for Ashbee. Info coming soon....

 

 

Dennis Goldstein

Dennis Goldstein was a two-time All America at the University of North Carolina. He was named the National Player of the Year in 1991 on Carolina's undefeated NCAA championship team. He also won the Brine Award as the MVP of the NCAA championship game in 1991 and was the Most Valuable Player of the 1991 ACC Tournament. He also holds the record for most goals in a season with 47 and has been coaching for the Radnor Youth Lacrosse League for the last 4 years.

Sean Halloran was a 3 year starter at defense for The Haverford School. Coach Halloran captained The Haverford School's state championship team in 2005. Sean played four years at Lafayette College and recently served as the defensive coordinator at Swarthmore College. Carl Walrath graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 where he started for four years. Coach Walrath was an Under Armour All-American, a 2 time All-American, and a member of the #1 team in the country during his senior year. Coach Walrath was listed as the #5 recruit in the country in 2011 by Inside Lacrosse. Coach Walrath currently plays at the University of Virginia.

Kyle Wharton graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2011 where he was their leading goal scorer and an honorable mention All-American attackman in 2009. Coach Wharton was a two time high school All-American at The Haverford School where he won 4 Inter-Ac titles and a state championship in 2005. James Chakey graduated from The Haverford School in 2012 lettering three times in lacrosse. Coach Chakey was a starting defensive midfielder in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Coach Chakey was a member of the 2011 National Championship team and served as one of the team’s captains during his senior year. Coach Chakey is currently a sophomore of the Penn State Lacrosse team as a defensive midfielder.

Dave Stilley graduated from The Haverford School in 1992. Coach Stilley played defense at Duke University where he was a 1st team All-American and two-time captain. He played in the National Lacrosse League for the Philadelphia Wings (World Champs 1998 and 2001), the Colorado Mammoth (World Champions 2006), and the New York Titans. He also played in the Major Lacrosse League for the New Jersey Pride where he served as the team's captain. Coach Stilley currently coaches at The Shipley School. Info coming soon... Casey O'Rourke graduated from The Haverford School in 2005 where he played attack. He was an All-American, Main Line Life Player of the Year, Inter-Ac Player of the Year, team MVP, MVP of the state championship game, and captain of the 2005 state championship team.

He continued his college career at UPENN where he played in every game of his college career.

Hup Hupfeldt graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 where he was a member of the #1 team in the country. Coach Hupfeldt started at attack for three years and was an All-American in his senior year. Coach Hupfeldt now now plays at the University of Pennsylvania. Joe McCallion graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 where he served as a co-captain of the #1 high school team in the country. Coach McCallion earned All-American honors as one of the best face-off players in the country. Coach McCallion currently plays at the University of Pennsylvania. Info coming soon...

Liam O'Connor graduated from The Haverford School in 2010 where he served as a captain, was a 2-time All-American, and a member of the Under Armour All-American Team. He currently plays midifeld and faces-off for Notre Dame. Steve Aitken graduated from The Haverford School in 2010 where he was a two time member of the All Inter-Ac team and a member of the Philadelphia Under Armour team 2009. Coach Aitken finished his career at Haverford with 100 goals. Coach Aitken currently plays attack at Penn State.
